Engineered Group, was contacted by The Edison Hotel & Residences to help refresh the look of their elevators. We have a strong reputation for providing a value-engineered alternative for businesses just like theirs.
Located on Channelside Drive in Tampa Florida, the hotel is home to 172 guest rooms and suites and 7 food and beverage venues, including a signature restaurant, rooftop bar and terrace. The property features a 204 sqm Penthouse Suite, expansive spa, fitness center and over 550 sqm of flexible meeting and events space.

The Edison Hotel & Residences were looking for an affordable option to make their elevators standout. Engineered Group provided and installed the architectural finishes for the project.

Using Reatec Architectural Finishes
After discussing with the client the vision for their project, we landed on using Reatec architectural finishes to help create the space that they wanted. We used Architectural overlay Reatec TA-4714 to wrap 38 elevator frames and exterior doors.
Reatec is an excellent option for clients looking to renovate their space or in new construction builds as it is lightweight, highly durable, affordable, and can be applied to both interior and exterior applications. There are over 1000s of patterns and finishes to choose from, including metal, wood, stone, and leather. The Edition decided to go with a solid color to update their elevators.
