Case Study: The LINQ Hotel & Casino – Las Vegas, Nevada

The Location

The LINQ Las Vegas Hotel + Experience knows how to keep the fun going, all in the heart of the Strip. Formerly known as the Flamingo Capri, Imperial Palace, and The Quad, the LINQ is now a casino hotel on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. Guests come here to enjoy rooms and an innovative casino. The LINQ Promenade’s 550-foot-tall High Roller Observation Wheel, retail shops, and every dining option imaginable are also available to the guests!

The Problem

The LINQ was initially opened as the Flamingo Capri in 1959 on property located directly north of the original Flamingo resort. With its years of history toppled on the continual flow of guests staying in its 2,253 rooms, the LINQ was due for a refreshingly modern look.

The Solution

With Engineered Group’s team expertise, the LINQ resurfaced 216 elevator doors and the surrounding trim using Architectural Overlays in a chic metal finish to coordinate with the modern decor and furnishings in the trendy Las Vegas hotel. The client has the flexibility to re-skin the elevator doors and frames in the future to accommodate additional renovations.
