Engineered Group was tasked with installing architectural overlays on the walls, elevators, and ceiling of Pier Sixty-Six’s condo complex, “The Residences at Pier Sixty-Six”. Located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Pier Sixty-Six is an under construction complex consisting of luxurious residences, a reimagined resort, and a superyacht marina.
As is the case in many of our projects, we were brought in to provide a value-engineered alternative for construction projects looking to stay within their target budget and timeline. We needed to create a high-end look, marrying a metal pattern to wood patterns with different angles while still achieving flawless seams.
As a dealer and installer of architectural finishes and overlays, we knew that there would be a overlay in Reatec’s vast catalog that matched the look that Pier Sixty-Six was going for. We found the right pattern and colors and got to installing the architectural finishes on the walls, ceiling, and elevators of the condo complex. We matched the right patterns so the space looks great in different lighting and completed the project in weeks versus the months that a project like this can typically take.
After discussing with the client the vision for their project, we landed on using Reatec architectural finishes to help create the space that they wanted. Reatec is an excellent option for clients looking to renovate their space or in new construction builds as it is lightweight, highly durable, affordable, and can be applied to both interior and exterior applications.
There are over 1000s of patterns and finishes to choose from in, including metal, wood, stone, and leather. For this project, the builder was looking for a modern, clean, high-end look to match the luxuriousness of the condo complex. We landed on using Reatec TC-5082 for the wood grain and RD-5534 for the metallic accents. Click the buttons below to samples of the overlays!
We and the team couldn’t be happier for how the project turned out. We were able to create a high-end interior for a fraction of the cost the builder would have had to pay for the real wood and metal materials.
This is a prime example of the capabilities and possibilities Engineered Group opens up for our customers looking to refresh their space, or even build new, at a fraction of the cost. Contact our team to learn how we can do the same for your space.
