Who we are

Engineered Group provides architectural finishes, decorative glass finishes and window film to commercial and residential clients throughout Florida. We are based at 3930 St Johns Pkwy, Sanford, FL 32771 and can be reached on (407) 802-3345.

This policy explains what happens to information collected through engineeredgroup.com. It applies to this website only, not to work carried out under a separate contract or to communications outside the site.

Information you give us

The contact form on this site is the only place we ask you for information. When you submit it we receive the first and last name, phone number, email address, company name, the option you select for how we can help, and whatever you write in the project description.

You choose what to put in the message field. Please do not include payment card details, government identification numbers or anything else sensitive – the form is not the right place for it, and we do not need it to quote a job.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting and security providers record ordinary technical information when a page is requested: the IP address, the browser and device type, the page requested, and the date and time. This is used to serve the site, keep it available and defend it against automated abuse.

We do not run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or any other analytics, heatmap or session-recording tool on this website. We do not build advertising profiles from your visit.

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets one cookie of its own: __cf_bm, placed by Cloudflare. It is a short-lived security cookie used to tell human visitors from bots. It is not used for advertising and it does not follow you to other websites.

Two small values are kept in your browser's own storage rather than as cookies: one that remembers the state of the contact form so it displays correctly, and one WordPress uses to check whether your browser can display emoji. Both stay in your browser.

We do not set analytics or advertising cookies. Because of that this site does not currently show a cookie consent banner. Third-party services described below may set their own cookies when you interact with them.

• Contact-form display state – stored in your browser, not transmitted to us
• WordPress emoji support check – stored for the browser session only

Third-party services

Some parts of this site are provided by other companies, and using those parts means your browser contacts them directly. Each handles data under its own privacy policy.

You can avoid the contact form entirely by calling us on (407) 802-3345 instead.

• GoHighLevel (HighLevel, Inc.) – hosts and delivers the contact form and stores the enquiries we receive from it
• Cloudflare, Inc. – content delivery, site security, and the Turnstile anti-spam check on the contact form
• Google Fonts – serves the typefaces the site is set in; your browser requests the font files from Google
• YouTube – used for embedded video in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which limits what YouTube stores unless you play a video
• Meta (Facebook) – our contact-form provider loads a Meta measurement script inside the form. It is part of the form product rather than something we place on the page ourselves, and we do not use it to run advertising to you

How we use your information

We use what you send through the contact form to reply to you, prepare an estimate, ask any follow-up questions a quote needs, and carry out work you go on to instruct. We may also use it to keep a record of the enquiry and of work we have quoted or completed.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them – to follow up, to honour a quote, to service work already carried out, and to meet our own record-keeping and tax obligations. When an enquiry is no longer needed for any of those purposes we delete it.

If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, ask us and we will do it, unless we are required to keep it.

Who we share it with

Your information is available to our own staff, and to the service providers listed above who operate parts of this site on our behalf. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not trade or rent contact details to anyone.

Your choices and your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details at the end of this policy and tell us what you would like done. We will need enough information to be sure who you are before we act on the request.

Depending on where you live, local law may give you additional rights over your personal information. If you tell us which right you are exercising we will treat the request under whichever rules apply to you.

If you no longer want to hear from us, say so in a reply to any message we send and we will stop.

Children

This site is aimed at building owners, facility managers and design professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and the contact form is protected by an anti-spam check. Enquiries are held in an access-controlled system. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us and to limit who can see it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles information we will update this page and change the date shown below. If a change is significant we will make that clear rather than quietly amending the text.
