Working in Tallahassee,statewide from Florida.

Engineered Group works throughout Florida, statewide. Government, university and healthcare buildings are the hardest interiors to renovate because they cannot close, and they are the ones this work fits best: no demolition, no construction dust, no VOCs, and the floor stays in use while the finish changes.

What we install

Tallahassee work,surface by surface.

Institutional corridor doors

Doors in public buildings carry a fire rating and cannot simply be swapped; film goes over the door already hung.

View

Buildings that cannot close

No demolition, no construction dust and no VOCs is what makes the work possible at all.

View

Public-facing surfaces

A sacrificial layer over glass, mirror and metal – when it is tagged, the film is replaced, not the substrate.

View

Corridor and administrative walls

Drywall and hard ceilings refinished while the floor stays in use.

View

Cab refinishing

Resurfaced over the existing panels, so the car is out for the install rather than a rebuild.

View

Security film

Bonds glazing so broken glass stays in the frame against impact and forced entry.

How it happens

Four steps,no demolition.

Survey and sample

We look at the substrate as part of the free estimate and tell you what preparation, if any, it needs, then put a physical sample of the exact finish in your hands before anything is ordered.

Dry application

Our own team installs it using a dry application process, with no wallpaper paste, so the film can be placed and adjusted before it is squeegeed down.

The building stays open

The film goes onto the surface you already have, so there is no demolition, no construction dust, no VOCs and no waiting while a replacement is fabricated.

It stays repairable

Architectural film lasts up to 12 years indoors and 5 outdoors, resists water, dirt and normal wear, and if it chips it can be patched so you cannot tell where.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions.

01Can the work happen while the building stays open?

Yes, and that is usually why it is chosen. The film is applied to the surface already there, so there is no demolition, no construction dust, no VOCs and no waiting while a replacement is fabricated, the floor stays in use while the finish changes.

02What area do you serve?

We work throughout Florida, statewide, from single-site jobs to multi-building campuses.

03Can one contractor handle the finishes, the glass and the window film?

Yes. We self-perform the whole interior surface package, walls, ceilings, columns, elevator cabs, doors, millwork, casework and glass, alongside commercial window film, decorative glass film, safety and security film and anti-graffiti film. Our own team installs all of it, so a lobby, its cabs and its glazing run on one schedule under one contractor instead of being split across trades.

04What should I look for when choosing an architectural finishes installer?

Ask three things. Whether the installer is trained and certified for pressure-sensitive architectural film, because surface preparation, temperature and experience decide the finish you end up with. Whether they self-perform or subcontract, since one team across walls, cabs, doors and glass means one schedule and one point of responsibility. And whether they will put a physical sample of the exact finish in your hands before you commit, our estimates are free and always come with one.

05How is architectural film applied?

Our installation team uses a dry application process, so there is no wallpaper paste involved. The film is easier to place and adjust before it is squeegeed down and any bubbles are smoothed out.

06How long do architectural finishes last?

Architectural film lasts up to 12 years indoors and 5 years outdoors. Because the installation process is quick and clean, repairing or renewing the film later is straightforward.

07How much does an estimate cost?

Estimates are completely free. Tell us the surface and the scope and we will come back with a real number, along with a sample of the finish.
